Time Traveler 1491

Transported Back to 15th-Century Ireland, Rand Joins the Global Revolution

After venture capitalists steal his $billion app, Rand seeks solace in the Grand Canyon, where he nearly drowns in the turbulent rapids. He seeks refuge in a cave, when a mysterious force overcomes him. Barely able to move, he wakes in the bed of a lovely, 15th-century maiden who nurses him back to health, after which he learns the profession that will change the world.

At the castle, Rand meets the beguiling Marie, a tantalizingly-beautiful, French royal bibliomaniac who induces him to compete in the Games, where he wins her favor—along with a formidable and most deadly foe. Rand has but one weapon though—Wikipedia on his iPhone.

Reviews

**** Modern times meeting the past This novel transports the main character from a Grand Canyon cave back to 15th century Ireland. He then finds himself in the midst of the development of printing technology. It was interesting to follow his adventures and his view of those times knowing he was looking at everything from a modern day perspective. If you like fantasy and time travel, you’ll enjoy this book!
